Giving Back

Giving Back

Being a couponer, you will be acquiring a stockpile of some sort, be it big or small. Once you start being able to find the expensive, name brand stuff for practically free, odds are you are going to get as much as you can to last your household as long as possible. Best thing you can do is give some of that awesome free stuff to members of our communities that are less fortunate. Here are some helpful suggestions of places that could really use the help….

·         The Boys&Girls club.         Being a non profit organization that has the philosophy that no child is ever turned away for the inability to pay, they could ALWAYS use a little bit of help. Any sort of arts and crafts stuff, any sort of school supplies, or even some nice office supplies for the staff that are so kind to our children really can make a huge difference.
·         Your childs school.            With our educators getting paid less and less every year, with the districts’ budget getting cut more and more, our schools NEED the extra supplies al the time. Even if you don’t have anything to physically hand over to them they are always in need of volunteers. Dads are encouraged to participate as well through the WATCH DOGS program during the day.
·         FISH Food Banks.               Food banks rely on donations from wonderful people every day to make sure they are stocked for the at times overwhelming need for food for families, and with todays economy it’s needed more than ever for families from all walks of life. Click on the link below for local food bank locations and information.  http://www.fishfoodbanks.org/pages/foodbank-locations.htm
Hope this helps encourage everyone to try to take just a few moments out of your time once a month (If not much much more) to help others that arent as fortunate as us to know how to shop the way that we do. A community that cares is a communtiy that sticks together.

Thanks Always!
